I am doing B.Com + CA and i am in FYBCOM. i want to know can i join air force as a pilot after my bcom. please let me also know how to join it and all other information of it.

No dear, you can't join air force as a pilot as you are a commerce graduate & the prime condition to become a pilot is that that student has to first possess a Student Pilot License (SPL). To get the SPL those with 10+2 with science and aged at least 16 years should register at a flying club which is recognized by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India. Registration requires a medical certificate, security clearance and a bank guarantee. An oral examination in subjects such as Air Regulations, Aviation Meteorology, Air Navigation, Engine (technical and specific) follows the registration. Successful completion of the examination entitles you for an SPL certificate.

For to enter into flying branch, there are 3 modes of entry.
1.combined defence services examination (cdse)
2.National cadet corps
3.Short service commission.

Age : 19-23 years
Martial status ;single
Nationality:indian
Gender : both male and female
Educational ; graduation with 60%
final year students also can apply.

For to enter into technical branch
you should be with btech by 60% or above.


You may also can enter into administration branch, accounts branch and logistics

As a commerce graduate you are only eligible to enter in to the IAF in the nontechnical post. It is mostly the Airmen grade 'Y'. A candidate from any stream can apply to this post it having more than 50% of marks. The candidates can go into IAF in the course of schemes like UES, SSC, and Logistic Cadre etc.
