dear sir, i have completed 10th and 12th with passing marks.
i want to join indian army so please tell me that there is any chances for me to join indian army.
if yes than what is the procedure

You can join Indian Army after 10th as a soldier through recruitment drive situated in all States. There is no percentage of marks required for it.

After 12th you can join Indian Army through NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good physical fitness can apply for NDA.

So it is better to apply for NDA after 12th to become an Army officer.

There is no percentage of marks required to join Indian Army after 10th and 12th standard, only a pass is sufficient to apply for it.

After 10th one is only eligible to apply for soldier in Indian Army, the recruitment for which is conducted by district recruitment Centre situated in every State from time to time.

But after 12th you can apply for Indian Army as an Officer through NDA(National Defence Academy), the entrance exam as conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate being an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental fitness.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical fitness and Medical Test.

Citizenship of INDIA.

Age limite:

Naval Academy : 19-22 Years
Officers’ Training Academy :19-25 Years
Indian Military Academy : 19-24 Years
Air Force Academy : 19-23 Years

yes you have chance to join indian army.first of all fill the form termed as nda (national defence academy) taken by upsc twice in a year.then you have to give the written test.if you clear the test then you have to give interview.if you clear the interview then you have to pass the medical.
it has some rules
1.candidate must be unmarried and 18 to 27 year in age.
2.should have to pass class 12 .
3.no case on you no fir

The best way to join the Indian Army after passing 10th and 12th exam with passing marks is to clear the National Defense academy examinations conducted by the UPSC .

UPSC exams only require passing % of marks in the qualifying exam ,so there is nothing to worry about the % of marks in 10+2.

For NDA exams which is conducted twice every year ,you should have passed or appearing for the 10+2 from a recognized board.

The age limit for the exam is 16.5 to 19 years.

You must be unmarried male candidates .Female candidates are not allowed to appear for the NDA exam.

You should satisfy the physical requirements.

in order to join Indian Army, you have different options after 10th and 12th which include the test conducted by different states for which there is no marks range and secondly, one can join it through NDA which refers to National Defence Academy, whose exam is conducted after 12th two times in a year and based upon the exam which mostly contains maths, one is selected.

Join Indian Army After 12th

In case you are worrying that since you have scored only passing marks in 10th and 12th which may be a hindrance to your joining of the Indian Army, then please don't worry because NDA(National Defence Academy) conducted by UPSC allows candidates to apply for the Indian Army without any percentage restriction..

However, you should satisfy the following conditions in order to appear for the NDA Examination :-

1) You should not have married while appearing for the exam neither are you allowed to marry till the time the training is on..

2) Your age has to be more than 16.5 years and less than 19 years..

3) The applicant should have cleared atleast class 12th from a recognized board (no percentage restriction)

The NDA Exam is held in April and August by the UPSC for the following wings :-

2) NAvy

Yes ,you have very good chance to join Indian army as you have to show excel potential and physically fit for this.

I would like to clear that Indian army do not take separate exam for its selection.

Every year UPSC conducts the NDA exam twice for the selection of the candidate in the army .
You can either apply for both NDA 1 &NDA2 exam.
This exam is conducted for the students who have passed or appeared the 12th std with science stream.
Eligibility for this exam is as follows :
Age : 16-1/2 to 19 year as per notification .
Qualification : 12th passed or appeared .

Procedure for join Indian army .
You have to apply for the NDA exam which is of two paper .
After clearing this paper you have to pass the PFT (physical fitness test).
Then you have to pass SSB test which is last process for becoming an Indian army officer.
