sir i have completed MCA and also I got B certificate in NCC. I want to join indian army as army officer. so please tell me how to join in indian army.

yes.you can join Indian Army after completing MCA.

you can get chance in Indian Army in two ways

1.through UPSC exam. this exam you can appear after your completing of your MCA course..

2.through TES(technical entry scheme) scheme.

MCA student are not eligible for Indian Army exam.

yes A MCA candidate can also join indian army and minimum percentage is 60% or just pass-out you are in good position....and since you have NCC -certificate there will be special entry for NCC candidates...

Eye Sight - 6/24, 6/24 correctable to 6/6 in each eye with glasses and should not be colour/night blind.So if you can get around this then definitely you are eligible...

Now you can apply for the CDS and UPSC exam which is to be conducted every year. If there any vacancy comes from the Indian Army you can also apply there. You should apply for the captain and other posts which you like most.

See its very nice that you are too much interested in joining the Indian army,here you have got good option to indian Army ,there are entries called SStechnical and non technical along with TGC entries for graduate students ,choosing which you can make your career in Indian army,But one thing you should remeber is that you should not have any back logs in the final exam,during appyling the form for Indian army all your backs should be clear.

to join indian army graduates and pg can sit for cdse exam.after the written exam that is of objective type and consists of maths,english and logical reasoning if you get selected then you will be called for ssb interview and then based upon your rank you will be allocated army,navy or air force.also you may appear for ues exam conducted for fast track selection in the technical branches.

The entrance examination is conducted by Upsc twice in a year.

For Indian Military Academy :-

The applicants must be a graduation from any recognized Institute/University or equivalent examination.There is no minimum marks required for this examination.
Any eligible candidate can apply for this examination.

Candidates who are appearing in the final year of examination can also apply for this examination.

But the applicants age should have a minimum 19 years and maximum 24 years of age at the time of appearing.

Only married male candidates are eligible and female candidates are not eligible.

The application forms are available in two modes : Online or Offline.

The Selection procedure : Written Test,SSB,Medical Examination.

you can apply for it.......you have to just fill out the form of indian army.............................after filling the form just check out daily the employment newspaper because they will call you for the SSB...........you have to passed out nine steps for being selected as the indian army officer.........................so start preparing from now onwards.............

As you have done MCA which is a post graduate degree you are eligible for joining in Indian army by writing the entrance exams like NDA,CDS.

For NDA you need to be a citizen of India and must be a unmarried male candidate and you should have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years.

You must have done your +2 from a recognized board.

For CDS you need to be a citizen of India and shoud be a unmarried male candidate and you should have a age limit of 19-24 years and must have a degree from a recognized university.

To join Indian army, you must join Indian Military Academy.

Since you are graduate you can get a direct entry by appearing the exam Combined Defence Services Examination conducted by UPSC. To appear this exam your age must be in between 19-24 years.

There are chances for you to get into Indian Army after MCA as you have chances of writing NDA,CDS.

NDA - National Defence Academy

CDS - Combined Defence Service

NDA and CDS are two defence service exams and they are conducted by UPSC ever year twice.

For Indian Army in NDA:

-> Candidate must be a citizen of India.

-> Candidate must be a unmarried male candidate.

-> Candidate must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years.

-> Candidates must have passed +2 from a recognized board.

-> Candidate must be physically fit while appearing for the NDA exam.

As you have your post graduation in MCA which is enough regarding the education qualification,check the age limits and other details whether you satisfy them to apply for these exams.

Eligibility for Indian Army :-

1) 10+2 (Through NDA)

You have to take an entry level exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to join NDA (National Defence Academy).
Eligibility for UPSC exam :-
a) Sex :- Male.
b) Age Limit :- Between 16 1/2 and 19.

Application Forms are published in leading
newspapers during March /April.

The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October)in all major cities throughout India.

Each year course start twice January and July.

UPSC (NDA) Syllabus is based on CBSE syllabus.

After clearing the written exam you have to go through a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step .

On completion of the NDA course, you are sent to the respective service academies for your pre- commission training.


2) Engineering Graduates (Direct Entry)

Engineering graduate can join the Indian Military Academy directly.

So, you only need to attend the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview.
