I am final year B.tech student, having ECE branch and i want to join indian navy. so please suggest me what should i do to join indian navy? please help me to decide about it...

give exam of CDS then you can go your "Indian naval academy"

and other way is to take admission in the naval school which is in south

you can join the indian navy after graduation with minimum of 60% marks in the 10th , 12th and graduation ...........

you can give the entrance exam of UES and CDS both are conducted by the
upsc ........

if you want to join the Indian Navy then try and write the CDS or UES exam conducted by UPSC...also try the direct technical entry...

to get into the Indian navy after BE you need to write the CDS or USE examination conducted by upsc...log into www.upsc.gov.in for details..

if you want to really join the Indian navythen i suggest you to prepare for the CDS examination...also there us UES examination conducted by UPSC....loog into www.upsc.gov.in for more details...

CDS exam is useful to enter into navy

Since you have completed your engineering in electronics branch so you can join Indian Navy as an officer through the following entry scheme.

Type Of Entry:1. Short Service Commission - Electrical
Candidates having degree of B.Tech in electronics stream with a minimum of 60% marks in engineering are eligible to apply for the above entry scheme.
The above entry scheme is a short service commission and is only applicable for the male candidates.

AGE LIMIT
To apply for the above entry scheme the candidate age should be between 19.5 to 25 years.


Type Of Entry: 2.Short Service Commission (Submarine)
Candidates having degree of B.Tech in electronics stream with a minimum of 60% marks in engineering are eligible to apply for the above entry scheme.
This entry scheme is also a short service commission type.

To apply for the above entry scheme the candidate age should be between
19.5 to 25 years.

Type Of Entry: 3.Short Service Commission Naval Armament
Inspection Cadre
To apply for the SSC(NAIC) Entry scheme the candidate should have degree of engineering in electronics stream.

You have to appeare for the CDS exam conducted by the UPSC
Exam details as follows:

(i) Age limits : 21-30 years

(ii) Educational Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely
Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics,
Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or
in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification.

(iii) No. of permissible attempts :4 for general
7 for OBC
no limit for SC/ST



(iv) Fee :


Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only)
(No fee for SCs/STs/Physically disabled only)

If you want to join Indian Navy after passing B.Tech then you have to qualify C.D.S exam.


N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

After qualifying C.D.S exam you can join Defence services like:-
> Army
> Air Force
> Navy

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass graduation with recognized university
> Age limit:-19-24 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

IMPORTANT DATES FOR C.D.S. EXAM.(II), 2012
Date of Notification:-02.06.2012
Last date of receipt of form:-02.07.2012(MONDAY)
Date of exam:-16.09.2012(SUNDAY)
