I would recommend you to take up ISAT examination which is conducted by IIST
You should bachelor's degree from there. I must tell you the paper is tough since, very less students are selected.

you can join isro through GATE exam. Now all the govt job are seeing gate score for eligibility. you need good score in GATE exam inorder to get in ISRO

Pay Band and Remunerations:
The selected candidates will be offered remuneration in the scale of INR 15600 – INR 39100 along with Grade Pay of INR 5400 and other incentives and allowances as per rules. The gross emoluments will be INR 34650, during the initial period of appointment.

The candidate interested to apply for this entrance examination must have the following qualification to be declared eligible:

Sir,I'm studying in class 11, I want to be an astronaut. So, with what course can I join ISRO ?

After intermediate, there is an Exam that is conducted by ISRO. You can prepare for that if you are interested for ISRO. Its really difficult to crack that(difficult than JEE) as the competition is cut throat but if you have the passion then you wont be stopped by anything.

If that chance is missed then, you can pursue engineering or B.SC and after that also there are various entries that ISRO offers on regular basis. So, you can plan for that also. Apart from ISRO, there are also research organisations like DRDO which also take engineering graduates after their b.tech. Though, it mainly deals as a R&D department for army but for a research person it can also be a good opportunity.

So, I would advise you to consider all your cards before playing a move.
