respected sir, i m in 11th science and i want to know how can i get into ISRO after completing my 12th... i know about the ISAT examination. can i please know its syllabus or the kind of preparations i 'll have to do to clear it...

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) Thiruvananthapuram will be conducting an admission test for its B.Tech Programmes in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics and Physical Sciences.

IIST admission test will be similar to other all India engineering entrance tests.
Questions will be of the objective type
and there will be two sessions of two hours duration each.

It will be based mainly on the CBSE Syllabus of 11th and 12th standards for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Lakhs of people fighting for 156 seats for ISAT so don't expect admission to be easy!

since lots of people are givin it, tough to expect anything and i think it was 100 marks which they kept for cut-off..

and for ISRO i think you can take admission after graduation or engineering but in 12th level....

dear friend,
after 12th it is not possible for you to get in ISRO... for that you have to first complete your graduation in technical field... after completion of your graduation you can appear in entrance exam which is conducted by ISRO... the entrance exam is generally held in april...

IIST(Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology)rammes in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics and Physical Sciences.


The total number of seats for the undergraduate programmes in IIST is 156. The branch-wise distribution of seats is as follows:
B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering: 60 seats
B.Tech. in Avionics: 60 seats
B.Tech. in Physical Sciences: 36 seats

Admissions to the undergraduate programmes in IIST are made through the IIST Admission Test (ISAT) conducted every year.
