Being a class XII you are only eligible for Police Constable Position. The recruitment process is different in each state. Generally there is a written test followed by a physical examination and test. The candidate should go through these to enter the police force.
The Army is conducting the regular recruitment drives for its various regiments. The place and time of the recruitment will be widely advertised in newspapers of the region. The Army will have more rigorous physical and medical test.

You want to know about Police or Army recruitment after passing 12th standard.I wold like to tell you about the procedure for army.

Eligibility Criteria :-There are three stages
1.Indian Air force
2.Indian Army
3.Indian Navy

Qualification Required:-Candidate must have qualified 12th with the subjects of Physics ,maths & chemistry.
Age Limit:-Age should be 16.5 to 19 years.
Physical fitness is more required.
Selection Process:-Candidate have to appear written exam & also physical test.
