how many time we can write GATE exam? and how many colleges are concerned with GATE exam i.e in how many IIT colleges are there to give addmission after GATE

u can write gate till ur age of 28....
all the IIT and NIT accept gate score....if ur score is good,
u hav to prepare well to gewt through it.practice ur core subjects well.

All IITs and NITs accept GATE score except new IITs where the Btech course was initialised in 2007. They only offer Btech course till now. Apart from them some well recognised colleges like TIET, PEC do accept it.
BITS conducts their own exam BITSAT. It is also necessary to get scholership in other universities offering MTech.

Graduate Aptitude Test is an entrance exam for getting admission to M.Tech.All the reputed Colleges like IITs, Birla Institute of Science and Technology, XLRI etc.ask for GATE score.

We can give GATE exam thrice only!!! Once pre MSc,second while appearing in MSc and thirdly in the year after MSc.

Through GATE exam you can get into both MTech(2 years) and PHd courses in IITs.GATE scores are also accepted in IISC Bangalore for PHd courses.

GATE scores have also very good value in GERMANY for getting PHd there and also in various job profiles and oppurtunities in University of SINGAPORE.

Almost all good colleges in india accept GATE score...or make their addmission on the basis of GATE score...All iits accept with gate score...but in addition they also conduct GD/PI rounds..

I think two universities are accept GATE score that is Osmania and jntu university

there is no restricted no.of time that u can attempt for GATE.all the IIT colleges accept the GATE score..

Information of GATE
GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is an All-India Examination
conducted by the Seven IITs and IISC, Bangalore. The objective of GATE is to identify
meritorious and motivated candidates for admission to M.Tech at the National level.
Every year, this examination will be held on 2nd Sunday of February from 09:30AM to
12:30 PM.

** B.Tech 3/4 yr students
** Candidates from professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE.

There is no limit on the no. of attempts a candidate can undertake for writing GATE exam. But there is an age limit, he should not be more than 28 yrears of age.

All IITs offering Master degree courses accept GATE score. In addition to IITs many other renowned istitues also accept GATE score like NIITs, PEC, TIET etc.

Actually there is no limit of GATE attempt
generally all the course of the GATE is almost covered in 5th sem,so you are eligible after the 5th sem.
Otherwise,you can sit after the 7th sem being fully prepared

If you can get admission in the above top colleges then you will be paid a scholarship of Rs. 8000/- per month by the Government of India.

So study properly.
