Re: How many marks are required to qualify for SBI Clerk exam?
Quote:
Nationality:- You should be a citizen of India. Educational Qualification:- Following candidates are eligible to sit for this exam:- 1. You need to be a 12th pass out with not less than 60 percent of marks at 10+2 level. SC/ST/PWD candidates needs 55% of marks. 2. You need to graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. 3. If you are a diploma holder then the degree should be a regular one and you need to get 60% in it as well. Age Limit:- While applying for this exam your age should not be less than 18 years and it should not exceed 28 years of age. Age Relaxation:- For reserved category candidates there is age relaxation. It is 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. Selection Procedure:- You need to go through the following two stages: 1) Written Examination and 2) Personal Interview. Exam Pattern:- The difficulty level of the question is not so high. So if you are well prepared then you will be able to answer correctly most of the questions and get high marks. There will be five papers in total and you will get two hours and 15 minutes to complete the whole paper. It is important to pass in all the five papers and there is negative marking too. 1/4th marks will be deducted from the original score for each wrong answer you give. There is a pass percentage which needs to be guaranteed by every student to expect a call for the interview. This is decided by the bank after assessing the overall performance of all the performing candidates. There is 5% relaxation for the reserved candidates. Hope this helps |

Re: How many marks are required to qualify for SBI Clerk exam?
There is no specific marks that you have to get for qualifying because the cut off generally is not same for every paper due to some factors.
The cut off marks for SBI Clerical examination can vary due to following factors: -Difficulty Level of the question paper. -Number of Vacancies -Number of students appear for the examination. So it is clear that if the number of vacancies are less then the cut off will go high. If the question paper is tough then cut off will go less . Hence you have to be well prepared for the examination and don't attempt those questions which you are not sure . Examination Pattern for SBI Clerical: -Objective type paper of 200 marks which will be having 5 sections that is Quantitative, Reasoning, English , General Awareness and Computer&Marketing Aptitude. -The will be negative marks(0.25) for wrong answers and you have to clear every section means there will be Sectional Cut Off. So be well prepared so that you can answer most of the questions and don't worry about cut off. If you have got most of the questions correct then definitely you will qualify it.
