Re: how many seat are there in the IITs for the M.Tech in Computer Science?
generally all the IIT have different number of seats for the different courses so please specify the college you want to go.its good to study for it not to think about the number of seats they provide.its obvious that if you score good marks then you will get the seat in it.
good luck |

Re: how many seat are there in the IITs for the M.Tech in Computer Science?
hey brother
....i have no idea about exactly your question how many seats are available ? but i suggest you the whole process... ..first in 3rd year you fill the form then study well and score above 90% in gate exam then in the basis of your score card you apply for M TECH in any IIT and NIT... i think you understand .... so now you go and study hard because you have golden opportunity because you are in 2nd year... so you take seriously DATA structure,C,operating system,DBMS,maths....... practice problems in 2nd level (average question)... take gate material from GATE FORUM coaching ....... good luck........ |

Re: how many seat are there in the IITs for the M.Tech in Computer Science?
dear friend,
its my kind advice that don't do that. do hard work. try clear GATE exam in 1st attempts.if you can't do in first attempts then only go for 2nd attempts. different IITs have different seats in m.tech. for cse students. at first prepare well for gate 2011. best of luck. |

Re: how many seat are there in the IITs for the M.Tech in Computer Science?
See when talking about IIT and other courses you should always consider that the seats are very few in these course. It will either 30 or less.
When you will purchase the prospectus you will come to about all the seats in civil mtech you can visit the websitehttp://www.iitac.in |

Re: how many seat are there in the IITs for the M.Tech in Computer Science?
yea it is a good decision obviously.
the number of seat in IIT depends on the course for which you are applying. there may be 30 or 40 seat for every course. there is 7 IIT. and in every IIT there is so many course for each stream. to get a basic idea about the seat visit the website of any IIT i think you will know about the system. |

Re: how many seat are there in the IITs for the M.Tech in Computer Science?
Final and pre final year students are eligible to take the GATE. You can take the exam in your third and fourth year. Since the score is valid for two years, you can use the better of the two to apply. If your reason to take GATE 2011 is just for practice, don’t waste time. You will find a lot of sample question papers on the net. Each IIT has a different class strength. You could check their sites for more information.
