You must mention which state and college to know about how many seats available for Mechanical Engineering..

-> Usually in every college the no. of students intake for Mechanical Engineering course will be around 60-150 which comes around 2 sections maximum...

-> The seats in government colleges will be very less and you must need a good score in 12th to get a seat.. which should be above 95 % for sure...

-> There are many good private colleges which provide seats for Mechanical Engineering too.. Just try to select the college which is comfortable and good for you....

My dear friend you haven't mention the name of the college so it's not possible for me to provide details regarding the availability of seats .You haven't mention which exam you have taken so that as per the information of that exam i can tell the details .But one thing if you did not get admission in any government college then you can apply in private college there you will easily get mechanical seat .Best of luck .
