EAMCET stands for Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test. It is a State level entrance examination conducted by JNTUK & JNTUH for offering admission to undergraduate courses in professional courses in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Candidates who have qualified 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology and English subjects from a Government recognised board are eligible to appear in EAMCET examination. You must be at least 16 years old as on 31st December of the year of examination to be eligible to appear in EAMCET examination.

Every year nearly 2,40,000 candidates appear in EAMCET examination and more than 1,50,000 candidates qualify EAMCET examination and secure admission in undergraduate course in professional colleges of Telanagana and Andhra Pradesh
