This exam is for your further Technical Studies after completing Graduation in Science subjects.

The simple answer for your question is there is no limit for No. Of attempts.
if you are not satisfied with your previous attempt then you are free to appear again..

there is no limit for that as there is limit in JEE

you are free to attempt how many times as you want till you get a good seat for your specialization.

your one attempt score is valid upto 2 years.
if you get more than the previous attempt the fresh attempt will be counted in the counselling procedure.

Hi friend..

There is no restriction for number of attempts.
But if u qualify, GATE scorecard is only valid for 1 years from 2011 onword.
Normally,students prefer to write first time when they are in final year of graduation and later 2-3 times.
I feel when you complete graduation and then appear in the next year that is the most important attempt because ur preparation will be at peak.

There is no restriction regarding the number of attempts in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.
If you are an engineering, architecture or technology graduate, you are eligible to appear for the exam as many times as you want.
For more information, refer to its official website.

There is no age limitation ,no percentage limitation and no limitation on the number of attempts .So you can apply for the exam as many times as possible .
So don't bother about those thinks and prepare yourself well .

There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam . You can try it in maximum times.

The GATE score is valid for only 2 years.

From this year only final year student are eligible for GATE exam.

Pre-final year student are not eligible for GATE exam.

* There is no restriction for Gate exam so you can attend the exam as many times you can.
* There is no age limit too.
* Candidates should get graduation in Architecture or in Engineering stream.
* Gate exam marks is valid for two years.
* There is no percentage criteria for this exam.

GATE exam takes place every year for admission into the best M.Tech colleges in India like IITs,BITS,IISc and many more prominent colleges give admission based on the GATE score

GATE is the aptitude test for the engineering graduates.It is one of the prestigious exam conducted in India.
With GATE score you can apply for admission into the masters course and for job in public sector units.
There is no restriction in the number of attempts .One can attend the exam as many times.
The gate score is valid for a period of two years.
GATE candidates have fee concession in their course and they have monthly stipend too

See you have maintained a god percentage of marks that really good to get enter into a Mtech course,You have here got two option one is you can join NITs based on your marks because there are some seats which are remain there for Non GATE students based on marks.However, if you don't want to go through GATE then better option is TANCET. Being an engineering graduate from Anna University you must be aware of TANCET, conducted by same Anna University for its master degree courses including M.Tech. But TANCET 2011 applications are over and entrance hs been scheduled to held on 29th and 30th of May 2011.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board - GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.

Eligibility of the GATE:
1:You should have a Bachelor's degree holder in Engineering or Technology or Architecture or Pharmacy of 4 years after 10+2.

2:You can also apply if you are in the final year examination of the Bachelor Degree.
or
3:You have to be a Master degree holders in any branch of Science like Physics,Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Applications etc....

4:You can also apply if you are in the final year examination of the Master Degree.

There is no restriction on number of attempts for GATE exam.

Hello,you can write many tmes Gate exam as you like it. Sky is the limit.
