i want to do M.E, POWER ELECTRONICS as a part time in GOVERNMENT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING ,TIRUNELVELI. for that how much mark can i gt in tancet to get a seat in tirunelveli government engineering college,and tell me the admission procedure and all other details?

I am M.Padmanapan from tenkasi. I want to do M.E structural engineering through part time in tirunelveli government engineering college. And I got 27.419 tancet score. Any body please tell about the details about the procedure for joining M.E structural engg and also counselling details and also the position of my mark and the rank list details. my email id [email protected]

Examination: Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2013

TANCET 2013 M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan Eligibility:
A pass in a recognised Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field and obtained atleast 50 % (45 % in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination.

B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. degree programme OR
B.Pharm. / B.Sc (Agri. / Forestry / Horticulture / Fishery) degree programme OR
Master’s Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts, which are prescribed OR
M.Sc. (5 Years) Integrated Degree Programme OR
B.Sc. 3 Years (Computer Science / Information Technology) and M.Sc. 2 Years (Computer Science / Information Technology)
MCA (3 Years) after 10+2 years H.Sc. + 3 Years bachelor’s degree.
MCA# Lateral Entry (2 Years) after 10+2 years H.Sc. + 3 Years bachelor’s degree in BCA or B.Sc. (Information Technology / Computer Science)

Note: Candidates with section ‘A’ & ‘B’ certificates and other similar certificate of professional bodies or societies (e.g. A.M.I.E.) recognised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India are considered to be equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech. Degree holders only with 2 Years regular full time Teaching experience / Industrial experience* in the relevant field after successful completion of the course including project work.
* An experience certificate is to be produced by the candidates with AMIE Qualification.

10 + 2 years H.Sc. + AMIE (with 2 years experience) OR
10 + 3 Years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE (with 2 years experience)

TANCET 2013 M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan Category:
A. GATE CATEGORY
(i) Candidates who have a valid GATE 2013 score with qualifying marks for assistantship in the appropriate discipline of Engineering / Technology.
(ii) Candidates who have a valid GATE 2013 score with qualifying marks for assistantship in Engineering Science (XE) and Life Science (XL) papers should appear for TANCET 2013 also.
B. NON - GATE CATEGORY
Candidates willing to be considered under Non-GATE category must appear for TANCET 2013.
C. SPONSORED CATEGORY
A limited number of seats are made available for the candidates employed and sponsored by the Government organisations, Government aided educational institutions and registered professional architects with a minimum of 5 years professional experience, under sponsored category. All such candidates who intend to apply under sponsored category have to appear for TANCET 2013.

TANCET 2013 MCA Eligibility:
A pass in a recognised Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration with mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduate level and obtained atleast 50 % (45 % in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examinations.

10 + 2 years H.Sc. + 3/4 Years bachelor’s degree Pattern OR
10 + 3 Years diploma + 3 Years bachelor’s degree Pattern

Candidates with section ‘A’ & ‘B’ certificates and other similar certificate of professional bodies or societies (e.g. A.M.I.E.) recognised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt.of India are considered to be equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech. TANCET 2013 Registration In Person: Candidates can receive hall tickets by applying at the Co-ordinating centres mentioned below by paying the exam fee and submitting the following documents:

Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
Entrance Test Fee in the form of Cash (or) Demand Draft
SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu have to produce a copy of the permanent community certificate (card format) for availing fee concession.

Note:Registration can be made at all the Centres on all the days as above between 9.30 am. and 5.30 pm. except on Sundays and Public Holidays.
