how much %age of +1 syllabus comes in iit examz.....

All IIT's are covering all the Basics... So don't leave any topics.. Entrance Exam is largely based on the +1 & +2 syllabus....

but to clear IIT you need to have command on all the topics!!!

my dear chap, never try to learn only+2 syllabus and go for the exam... you ll not succeed.
iit papers are set in such a way that they are more concept based.
for cracking iits, your concepts have to be strong. so you are expected to know what is taught in 11th....
unless you know that you wouldn't have a good grasp of +2 syllabus as well... i have written the exam as well....

ans) MATHS:-

CO-ORDINATE:-straight lines,circles.are most important one.
ALGEBRA:-complex no.,vectors and qudratic eqution are most important one.
CALCULUS:-derivatives,limit,continuty.are most important one

PHYSICS:-
machanics,kinematics,vectors are most important one

CHEMISTRY:-
bonding,nomenclature,matels however tough questions comes from physical part.

ABOVE MENTIONED ARE JUST most important ones, otherwise whole syllabus must be covered.

In my opinion,the 11th syllabubs have more part in comparison to 12th class.but not more its just like 60%+40% ratio.

so you must take both at same level.@@

hi, according to me it depends upon your talent and your basic knowledge of how well did you understood the basic concepts in your 11 as well as 12 standard and how well can you put it on paper......

iitjee is mainly based on basics so you can not say how much of what is covered in iit

generally the portion of iit is the mixed combination of 11 th as well as 12th.....
if u r gud at both the years then it becomes very simple to attempt as ur basics will be very clear...........\

there is no set rule that this much percentage should come from first year and this much from second,forget about this things start preparing the basics right

you should know about basics of +1 it will help you in entrance

you have to study 11th class subject to clear the basics,because 12th class is totally an expansion of 11 th ,so study 11th subject ,it will help you,as you are sound with basic.

See you need to have a deep and a thorough knowledge of your 11th and 12th syllabus as it is based on that so do not worry of the percentage of the marks involved prepare thoroughly and get good marks.

in class 12th many syllabus come for iit entrance exam i think 50 to 60% above

The entrance conducting commity of IIT's do not set papers on the basis that we have touch 50% syllabus of class 11 or 60% syllabus of class 12,

the paper is set such that to check the understanding of the the students,the basic concepts of syllabus just to check weather the candidate is liable to become a good engineer from IIT or not.

So, they ask questions from the part of the syllabus which i have mentioned previously because that parts are considered best to check the understanding as well as conceptual concepts of the syllabus.

So, dont think that by studing some important portion of the syllabus we will be able to crack IIT.

Why you all forget that you are a science student and you duty is to understand the subject and to build clear concept,and not to run behind that we have to crack IIT or else.

hi, you have to complete all the section for the IIT from your class 11th.
and must read the detailed syllabus of the IIT in IIT form of the last year or this year

can't say specifically that such % of 11th course comes in iit but want to suggest you to cover both your 11th and 12th NCERT books thoroughly as these are the main books

mainly the ratio is 60 and 40 ....40% from 11th class generally comes in iit exam..

There is no such rule that 10 marks question will come from gravitation or 5 marks from mechanics etc.All are important.

However,it can be specified that following part of physica contains much weightage.

Mechanics,kinematics,vectors,gravitation,atomic physics,electronics and electromagnetism.

because we can't judge the students on the basis of theeir percentages..........
because students have ability but they can't get good marks because of rattafication.....

@topic..........but atleast you have to get 1st division.........& for IIT u should covered all over syllabus of 11 th & 12th......that's it

according to new pattern of iit jee applied guessing is tough so study well ......... study section wise it will be easy give more stress on maths coordinate part

the entrance exam is a combination of both the classes so prepare wel and equally for both ok

i think questons are come from both classes 11th and 12th so you can prepare both classes subject very well.

there is not exact calculation that houch much question will be asked in the iit jee from 11th syllabus,
it varies every year,
so i will suggest you to study each and every topics of syllabus.

they generally give the question from both the 11th and 12th books in a equal proportion so just read those concepts which are very important.

atleast 55-60% syllabus comes from class 11, students as they have appeared in boards have well prepared their 12th course, but not preparing 11th course always places a dilemma.

chapters of 11thh and 12th std both are interlinked so i think you should go thorogh all the topics of the syllabus of iitjee and whatever you prepare prepare it deeply ..

11th and 12 th class chapters are very important, and question are come from both the classes, i think you have to prepared well of both class subjects.

There is nothing like that 50% syllabus will be from 11 and rest of from 12.if you really want to succeed then prepare all.

But it has been mostly seen that the syllabus of +1 comes less as compare to +2.
We will say that the ratio is 40-60.
So you should have the knowledge of +1 subjects also.
