Re: How much percentage is required for B.Com?
You did not mention the particular purpose for which you want to know the required percentage of marks in B.Com course.
If you want to join MBA course soon after the completion of your Graduation in B.Com, then you need to score a minimum of 50% of marks in your Graduation with B.Com course. Relaxation is there in percentage of marks upto 5% for the candidates of SC/ST category. The admission to MBA course will be given on the basis of performance in any of the following Entrance Exams. -CAT -MAT -GMAT -SNAP -FMS etc. In addition, there are some state level Entrance Exams for MBA course by cracking which you can get admission for this course in and around various colleges of that particular state. If you complete your Graduation, you are eligible to appear for -Bank PO Exams -CDS Exam to be placed in various Defence services -Civil Services Exam to be placed in various civil services -SSC Exams -RRB Exams etc. You can also join other Post Graduation courses like -M.Com -M.Com Computers etc. You did not mention whether you are a candidate having completed Graduation or pursuing Graduation. If you are a candidate pursuing B.Com course, then try to score more percentage of marks in your B.Com course. Wish you all the best. |

Re: How much percentage is required for B.Com?
A minimum of 60% marks at graduation level will ensure that you can sit for all types of exam and even if you directly apply for jobs then you will face less hindrance as the competition with each passing day is only becoming stiffer and stiffer.
After B.Com those in business and finance such as CA, company secretaryship (CS), cost and works accountants (CWA), banking and so on while others including or relat*ed to finance, law. mass com*munication, hotel manage*ment, civil services etc. So work hard. All the best |

Re: How much percentage is required for B.Com?
Different colleges have different percentage criteria depending upon the seats available for them in a particular course.B.Com is divided into two different sections i.e
1. B.com (pass)- tis is an easy course & mostly average students prefer this subject.he percentage varies between 60 % to 80% depending upon the college status. 2. B.com (Hons)- This course provides the specialization in this particular subjects offered in it.Here the percentage varies between 75% to 95% from the lower to higher degree colleges. If the seats are less & the students are more then sometimes the colleges conduct an entrance Exam too for the same. |

Re: How much percentage is required for B.Com?
Admission to B.Com is possible based on the marks in the qualifying exam.. it completely depends on the university u are targetting... DU have higher percentage for cut-offs. But some private universities have lower cut-offs and are good enough... I have heard about B.com professional in LPU which is quiet good.. Amity is also an organization that have B.com and is good enough.. I feel u must visit the websites of such universities for more details...

Re: How much percentage is required for B.Com?
B.Com stands for Bachelor of Commerce. This is a 3 year Graduation course being offered by many of the colleges in India.
Here is the required eligibility criteria for the candidates to join this course. One should have completed 12th class with any of the following subjects Civics Economics Commerce etc. Direct admission will be given for the candidates to join this course in many of the colleges. Soon after the completion of your Graduation in B.Com, I suggest you to opt for MBA course at Post Graduation level so that you will be having good career scope and job opportunities The following specializations would be better choice for you in MBA course. MBA in Finance MBA in Accounting MBA in International Business MBA in Risk Management MBA in Entrepreneurship Management etc. Gain good subject knowledge in your Graduation and Post Graduation as well through which you can easily crack the Interviews. Start preparation for the Entrance Exam to join MBA course from the 2nd year of your Graduation so that you will be strong enough in all the aspects of written exam by the time you actually take it.
