hi,

Management Aptitude Test (MAT)

MAT is conducted 4 times a year by All India Management Association (AIMA).

All graduates all eligible to apply for MAT.

There is no percentage restriction as such.

However some participating institution can put such restriction but it doesn't go true with all institutions.

So, you are eligible to apply for the exam.

MAT stands for Management Aptitude Test. This is an entrance exam for MBA which started from 1988. It has been approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development too. So just like CAT, this exam is also a National Test which can give you the opportunity to study in over 600 B-Schools in India.

Unlike CAT, MAT exam can be given for four times a year. So the opportunity to better yourself with another exam if the first one didn't go well is high. This exam is conducted usually in the months of February, May, September and December.

Here is the schedule of this year:-

May Exam Date: 5 May 2013
September Exam Date: 1 September 2013
December Exam Date: 1 December 2013

This exam can be given by anyone who has got a bachelor's degree in any discipline of his choice. It just needs to be acquired from a recognized university.

Since the minimum percentage to attain has not been mentioned therefore the pass marks would do. Final year students are also eligible to give this exam.

Age Criteria is not a factor here. So you have the freedom to give the exam at whatever age you want to. Since the number of attempts is not limited so you can also give this exam as many time you want to.

There is both paper based test and computer based test. You can choose whichever you want to. By paying in cash Rs. 1200 to any one of the branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, listed Study Centres of AIMA OR from AIMA, New Delhi you can get the application form.

You can also make a demand draft in favor of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi and then log into the official website of MAT with the DD details and complete the formalities.

MAT May Exam 2013 Notifications:-

Last Date For sale of Forms: 16 April 2013 (Tuesday)
Last Date For Online Registration: 16 April 2013 (Tuesday)
Last Date For Offline Registration: 19 April 2013 (Friday)

Hope this helps :-> :->
