To become Sub inspector the required educational qualification is bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

Aggregate in 10th is not the basis of final selection and only passing aggregate in 10th, 12th or other academic qualification is sufficient to qualify in the examination.

For detail information about the examination and syllabus go through the notification.

To become sub-inspector, you have to appear and qualify in the recruitment examination conducted at central as well as state level.

The examination is conducted in various stages ( varies with state ). The basic eligibility qualification to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. Candidates need to have minimum qualifying aggregate to appear for the examination.

In general there is no minimum percentage criteria to be managed in any academic degree to be eligible for becoming a sub-inspector and the basic education required to be a Sub-Inspector is simply a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university.

10th marks aren't considered while applying or being selected for sub inspector.

Even if you are a compartmental student, you are allowed for applying.

Here is the eligibility criteria for being sub inspector:-

1- Candidate need to have a degree in any recognised institute with minimum 50%.

2- Candidate need be above 21 yrs of age.

These are the minimum qualifications you should have for being selected.
