Dear,

It depends upon the college you would have choose for MBA. More branded college need approximately 70-80% in 10th & 12th.
for eg- JIMS, delhi
BALAJI INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT, pune
XLRI, pune

There are some colleges which do not require high percentage but the score of MAT/CAT is more important for them.

e.g- Asia pacific institute of management, new delhi

IIMT in greater noida have low fee structure and do not require high percent for admission.

MBA - MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, is a regular Post Graduation course of two years duration and can be pursed after Graduation.

The percentage of marks in 0th and 12th does not matter for admission to MBA course.

Some reputed Institutions conduct entrance exam like CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT for admission to MBA course.

CAT-COMMON ADMISSION TEST conducted by IIM(Indian Institute of Management) - The candidate having completed Graduation in any stream with at least 50% marks from a recognised University, is eligible to apply for CAT.

MAT-MANAGEMENT APTITUDE TEST conducted by AIMA(All India Institute of Management Association) - The candidate having Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University, is eligible to apply for MAT. There is no percentage of marks criteria for application to MAT.

Hence after Graduation you can apply CAT/MAT and try to score good marks in order to get admission to MBA courses.

MBA stands for Master of Business Administration. This is a 2 year Post Graduation program in Management stream being offered by many of the colleges in India.

Here is the complete eligibility criteria.

Academic Qualification :
-One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% of marks.
-Relaxation is there in percentage of marks upto 5% for the candidates of SC or ST category.

Age criteria :
-There is no upper age limit at all to join this course. One can join this course at any age.

The admission will be given on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam.

Popular Entrance Exams to join this course are
CAT
MAT
GMAT
XAT etc.

In addition there are some state level Entrance Exams to join this course like
ICET
TANCET etc.

For your kind information,
The percentage of marks that are scored by the candidate in 10th class and 10+2 are not considered to join MBA course.

Only the percentage of marks that you score in Graduation matters a lot in making you to be eligible for the Entrance Exam.
