GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test of Engineering and the examination is conducted by the IIT to pursue the M.tech from the government colleges as from IIT and NIT . The GATE score also help in getting jobs in PSU .
The eligibility criteria for the examination are:- Candidates having B.tech degree in any stream from a recognized university are eligible . There is no limitations on number of attempts. The examination is online based . There is no specific requirements of percentage to apply . There is different cut off marks for different stream . So it is tough to say exactly about the percentile of it . There is negative marking also . The question are asked from Reasoning, Elementary Mathematics, Aptitude and questions from the stream in which you have completed your degree . |
