How much rank is needed in AIEEE to get in top college?

To get Top colleges you need to score very good marks out the maximum marks. in Rank wise you need to have 5k below rank or in some cases below 10k will also works.Because lot of lower ranks will get admitted in IIT's. So chances for others to get admitted in NIT's occurs.

The minimum academic qualification for admission through AIEEE is a pass in the final examination of 12th

Those appearing in 12th Class final or equivalent examination may also appear in AIEEE Exam. Those appearing in 12th Class in 2012 are not eligible to appear in AIEEE 2011.

And those who had already Attempted 3 consecutive AIEEE are also not Eligible.

friend in orissa the top college thet u could get is nit-rourkela.if u are a domicile of orissa state then a rank in b/w 5000-11000 can gain u entry in the prestigious instt. plus reserved category students can expect the upper cut off to go higher.also if u are not a domicile of orissa then u would have to secure b/w 3000-8000 to get into it.

The marks to get admission in the TOP college of engineering such as IITs NITs IIMs etc.
is differ in everyyear i.e it totally depends on the marks of the TOPPER who ranked 1st in the AIEEE examination .

The procedure is that you the topper who scored highest from the maximum marks is ranked as 1st Ranker and so on other students get their rank .

So that totally depends on the cutt of marks and number of studemts appeared in that particular year and marks obtained by the topper .

Generally rank upto 10 000 is considered for admission in the top colleges

You need at least under 20000 rank for all india rank(AIR) for getting admission in a good college of Orissa or in another state college.

for top NITs ....its better to get an AIR under 20,000.

AIEEE is conducted in all over India.There are many good colleges in all over India which takes AIEEE rankers.If you are able to score less than 20000 rank in AIEEE then surely you can get a good Engineering College.

If you want to get admission in any NIT in general category, you should have an all India rank below 2000. Generally if you have a state rank of below 200, you will get the best college of your state.

minimum 50000 in all India.

if you have general categery then 35000rank ,obc then 60000 rank and sc/st then 300000 rank is required to get top college in orissa.

If you belong to the general quota then you will at least have to secure a rank above 4000 to get a nice chance into the top govt. colleges i.e. the NITs(National Institute of TEchnology).
That will account for around 260 marks in the AIEEE paper.

Incase of the oter categories ranks may be as follows:
OBC: <7000
SC: <15000
St: <17000

So score as much as you can in the AIEEE exam to have your seat booked.

hiii friend....here i can help you.......if you get below 5000 rank in AIEEE....then you can get seat in top nit's like NIT warangal,,NIT TRICHY,,NIT SURATHKAL,,,in top branches.................
