Joint Entrance Exam for Lateral Entry (JELET) exam is conducted for giving admissions directly into 2nd year of graduation. The cut off rank for Jadavpur university is mentioned below.

- For General candidates it will be around 161 - 541.
- For OBC candidates it will be around 1494 - 1637.
- For SC & ST candidates it will be around 1494 - 1637.
