How much should I score in GATE to be eligible for PSU companies?

You should have mentioned your category,but no problem in order to be eligible for the public sector companies,your should be less than 500.for this you have to score 65-75 out of 100.

I'm a student of Electrical Engg nd my 8th sem has finished,my agg. is 64.2%.
I want to appear for gate, so for the same i want to confirm that if i got a good gate score then wil the PSU like NTPC,PGCIL wil let me appear for the further proceedings or wil not let me because my agg. is below 65%.
In short, I want to ask whether these PSU's give a kind of concession in aggregate if u have a gud gate score ?

how gate and psu's are interrelated? can we do m.tech side by side with psu job?

With what minimum GATE 2013 score can I expect to get a job in PSU? I belong to ST category & my branch Mechanical.

My marks is 26.67 and gate score is 283,and i belong to OBC catagory,do i have a chance to get a call from any of the psu's ???

My GATE 2013 Score is 314 and scored 27 marks in general category of Electronics & Comm. branch.May I know the cut-off procedures for various PSU's (BHEL,BEL,NALCO,NTPC and HPCL) and the type of exam they conduct further using the GATE score........
