You can attend NDA exam only after you complete 12th class. If you have chosen science subjects along with mathematics, you can apply either in Navy/Air force. Minimum age limit is 16.5 years. 19 years is the higher age limit for this. You will have to qualify UPSC NDA exam first. On qualifying this exam, the final selection process will include a physical test and personal interview too.

NDA(National Defence Academy)

To apply for NDA you must be 12th pass from a recognised state or central board.

NDA has three wings:
Indian army,
Indian airforce,
Indian navy.

Educational Qualifications for NDA exam:
(i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Percentage is not required for this exam.

Age criteria:
Age limits is 16.5 years to 19 years.
There is no relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates.

Selection procedure:
Written test,
SSB interview,
Medical test.

NDA stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY ,..This examination is conducted by the UPSC [UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION] twice in a Year.

The minimum educational requirements for appear in this exam is a 12th degree from the recognized board.
As the students of class 12th can also appear for this examination, so you are totally eligible for this examination is respect of the educational qualification.

Also I would like to inform you, If you want to apply for the Indian navy & air force, you must have subjects physics & maths in 12th,.
Also you must have scored at least 60% in 12th.
OTHERWISE you can only apply for the Indian military force..

The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years,..
Remind that there is not any kind of age relaxation for any reserved category.

N.D.A exam is conducted by Union public service commission twice every year as NDA -1 and NDA-2 for recruitment in the three defense services of Indian Army namely:

~He should be having Physics,chemistry,mathematics to apply in all the three branches namely Army,Navy Air force.

~He should have passed the intermediate from a recognized school of a board.

~His age must lie between 16.5 to 19 years,including the limiting dates

~If he is having non science (P.C.M) branch in XII then can apply only for army academy.

Being a 11th standard completed candidate could not be eligible for NDA.

NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year.

Educational qualification:-

12th standard is the educational qualification to appear this exam.

Being a candidate of currently persuing 12th standard is also eligible.

Percentage is not required to appear this exam.

NDA exam is conducted twice in i,e NDA - I & NDA - II through UPSC .
The eligibility criteria for NDA exam are as follows..

*Candidates who are appearing for the NDA exam must be unmarried males. They
must be atleast 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years .

*Candidates who are permanent citizens of India can apply for the NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy. It is an academy not an office where you undergo training for three years. To give this examination you need to be a 12th pass out first. The NDA examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission in the months of April and September.

This exam is for the candidates who are interested to pursue a career in defense and you can enter the following academies on successfully cracking this exam:- Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy. In the application form you need to mention whether you want to join NDA or NA.

Eligibility Criteria:-

## This exam is only for the unmarried male citizens of India. While you are staying in the academy during that period you cant get married. On doing so you will be asked to leave. Unfortunately this exam is not for girls.

## To enter the Indian Military Academy you just need to pass H.S. or its equivalent from a recognized board as mentioned earlier. Here your subject combination at 10+2 level does not matters.

## To enter the Air Force Academy & Naval Academy you need to pass 12th standard successfully from a recognized board but in addition to that they need to have physics and mathematics as their compulsory subjects at 10+2 level.

## The minimum age limit is 16.5 years and maximum age limit is 19 years.

## The selection procedure is based on the following stages:-

1. Written Examination

Total Marks:- 900 marks
Total Time: 2.5 Hours (For each paper)

To become a NDA officer one has to crack its entrance exam after 12th.

NDA - national Defence Academy, the exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.
