Dear,

For civil judge exam you have to go through following exams:

Preliminary Exam:
Paper-I Time-2 hours MM-150
It will contain question from general knowledge.
Paper-II Time-2 hours MM-300
It will contain questions from law from following topics:

• Jurisprudence
• International Organisations
• Current International Affairs
• Indian Constitution
• Transfer of Property Act
• Indian Evidence Act
• Indian Penal Code
• Civil Procedure Code
• Criminal Procedure Code
• Law of Contract

After qualifying preliminary exam you will be eligible to write main exam.

Main Exam.
It will contain questions from

1. General Knowledge
2. Language-
   • Essay to be written in English – 60 marks
   • English Precis writing – 60 marks
   • Translation of passage from Hindi to English – 40 marks
   • Translation of Passage from English to Hindi – 40 marks
3. Law – I (Substantive Law)
4. Law-II (Procedure and Evidence)
5. Law-III (Penal, Revenue and Local Laws)

If you qualify main exam you will be selected for interview round which will be final process of selection.

Some of the books that you can follow for this exam are:

1. Upkars Civil Judge & Public Prosecutor Exam. Solved Papers by Abhinav Mishra.
2. M.P. & C.G. Civil Judge Preliminary Examination Solved Papers by Mahendra Patel & Anand Pandey.
