Re: How to prepare for CSAT exams? Which books to be referred for CSAT exam?
The CSAT exam consists of the preliminary examination & main exam with an interview.
The preliminary exam pattern consisted of- 1. Two objective type papers: (i) one paper was based on the general studies (ii) The other paper was based on the optional subjects that were in turn, chosen by the candidates. The general studies paper was common, whereas the optional subject paper differs from candidate to candidate. This was complicating and little confusing and this was way too much complication for first level of the entrance exam, as there is main exam after the entrance exam, followed by the interview. So it is advisable for you to get through knowledge about the general knowledge from various G.k books.Try to read the newspaper daily The preparation of optional subject can be done under the guidance of some good expert with in a lesser time practice. Many candidates weren’t aware of the Indian history, but would in turn score high marks in the preliminary examination, but without knowledge about the country, there is no use of getting appointed as the officers in the civil services cadres. And it is also said that both the papers in the CSAT would be bearing same weightage, when it is coming to marks allotment segment and also would be the same to all the aspiring candidates of the civil services examination. You can get the model papers from- http://csat.iupsc.com/sample-papers/ You can refer the following books as under- 1. General Studies Manual (GS Manual) 2. Tata McGraw Hill's (TMH) GS Manual for prelims. 3. Year Book 4. Book for Indian Polity 5. Student Atlas for Geography related questions For getting more books visit to- http://iaskracker.com/books-for-csat/ |

Re: How to prepare for CSAT exams? Which books to be referred for CSAT exam?
I am very confused about the lateral admission in MCA for A level qualifiers, bcz of dissimilar arguments on the websites. Can one tell me that should it be possible for A level qualifier to get addmission in ||| sem of MCA in IGNOU? And if anyone is pursuing MCA form IGNOU then can you tell me the recognition of MCA degree from IGNOU in corporate sector?
However MD university Rohtak and PTU facilitates a lateral addmission in ||| sem to A level holders but I have heard that there isn't any recognition of MCA degree from these universities to corporate sector. Please suggest..... |
