How to prepare for CSAT and Mains exam? Do I need to join any weekend classes in Chennai? Best coaching classes?
sir iam dng 1st year ece in vit university...nd am vry passionate abt to clear both csat nd mains..how i need to prepare my self frm now??do i need to take any weekend classes in chennai??if so...wat r the best coachng centres whch offer weekend classes???

You should practice yourself to answer the previous year questions, reading daily news papers is the best. Material/Book Publisher General Knowledge (Paper I) and Aptitude (Paper II) Pearson Education General Knowledge (Paper I) and Aptitude (Paper II) Tata McGraw Hill India Year Book 2012 (Paper I) Government of India Current Affairs (Paper I) Arihant Practice Test Series (Paper I & Paper II) Digimedia There are two papers: Paper I - (200 marks) Duration: Two hours - Current events of national and international importance - History of India and Indian National Movement - Indian and World Geography - Physical, Social, Economic geography of India and the World. - Indian Polity and Governance – Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc. - Economic and Social Development – Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc. - General issues on Environmental ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialization - General Science. As you said you arein first year of ECE. As its a 4 years of course, you can apply for Civil Services Exam in 4th year of your graduation or after completing graduation. You have three years of time to prepare for the exam.
How To Prepare for the exam from Now? 1. Read News Papers daily. So that your general awareness can be improved. 2. Try to learn shortcut for aptitude. 3. Make schedule for preparation. 4. Prepare for the exam by solving previous year papers. 5. Get previous year solved paper and try to solve within time. 6. Concentrate on your study. 7. Believe in your self and do hard work. 8. You can also get notes from reputed coaching centers for preparation. Eligibility Criteria for Civil Services- 1. Graduation in any stream. 2. Age- 21 years to 32 years. How to apply?
