Re: How to prepare for IIT JEE by self study?
Yes! You can if you are really determined . Just have faith in yourself.
If you choose to study all by yourself, then here are some tips which you may find useful: -Start your preparation right from the beginning of Class XI and exploit the 2 years to the fullest. -You should give importance to all the topics. -Read and note some important points on the particular topics means that you have to note the summary of the chapter for simpler to your study. -Apply for some papers conducts by coachings or online test for your improvements. -Remember that unless you give tests, you won't get the feeling of IIT-JEE. -Plan your study in a systematic way. Devote equal time to all the three subjects. Read the theories very thoroghly and strengthen your basics. |

Re: How to prepare for IIT JEE by self study?
There is one of the best way to prepare through correspondence course by any good coaching centers or institutions(example-Vidyamandir Classes,New Delhi-www.vidyamandir.com;Career point, Kota-www.careerpointgroup.com. They are best coaching centers in India. Other good way is that you have to take latest books of physics, chemistry and maths/IIT JEE guide with test papers or join only test series (FIITJEE all india test series) that will give you similar questions as in IIT JEE. If you are new then joining correspondence course is better method to save time and searching books, materials and getting quick success.

You can buy good books like the r.d. Sharma for maths, o.p. Tondon for chemistry & h.c.verma for physics. These books are a good source which would surely help you. The next step is that you start collecting previous years papers of iit. Try solving them & evalute yourself. Then go for the sample papers available for free download on internet. Re: How to prepare for IIT JEE by self study?
IIT JEE exams are really hard to crack. As for the initial preparation be very familiar with the entire syllabus of IIT JEE. Students must also be well versed with the syllabus of 10+2 level. There are number of books available in the market that will help you through the process. Students should practice model question papers to be familiar with the exam and to increase their speed and maintain strict timing.

Re: How to prepare for IIT JEE by self study?
For clearing the IIT JEE paper you should work very hard because there is no short key to success and as far as concered about self study if you are really a hard worker and determined to your goal then you will definately succeed.
First thing you should keep in mind is that you have to clear this paper anyhow and at any cost because if you have confidence then only you can succeed in any competition. Try to solve varieties of questions don't solve too many questions of single type as this will make you learn nothing. In IIT Chemistry is a scoring subject so emphasis on this subject will help you very much. And Organic part is also scoring among physical and inorganic.Refer first NCERT for chemistry and then other books. And for inorganic NCERT is sufficient. But for your better performance i would suggest to go for a test series at last because this will help you very much and you will also able to know where you stand in class and it will also increase your speed and gave you a environment of original JEE paper . ~ BEST OF LUCK ~ |

Re: How to prepare for IIT JEE by self study?
I think anyone can crack IIT -JEE by himself..
You have to know that CBSE is against Coaching centers. And now CBSE think that they will change exam pattern every year because they want to fail the coaching centers.. You have to study regular and properly for cracking IIT-JEE or AIEEE. Total paper of IIT-JEE, AIEEE and other exams are based on NCERT Books. None of question is not out of 11th and 12th standard Books. So firstly concentrate on CBSE issued NCERT books. Of course For clearing doubts and concepts you have to buy another book away from NCERT.. So on the basis my companion HC verma and ARIHANT books are very good to study to understand concepts easily.. OR you can go for FITJEE Notes they are difficult to read but seriously they are very helpful to you.. |
