To become an Income Tax Officer, you have to appear and qualify in Civil Service examination.

To become an I.R.S and other service in Income tax department, you have to appear and qualify in Civil Service. The required eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university and the age limit is 21-32 years and relaxation for reserved category.
