Re: How to prepare for INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERS INDIA?
dear friend, all the related information regarding institution of engginering are availiable in the given attachment file-
first thing to be understand is that there is no any shortcut for success same way for AMIE. Make a delicate balance between AMIE study and your job. try to study daily minimum two hours............and always study according to the syllabus............ |

Re: How to prepare for INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERS INDIA?
dear friend..........
The Institution of Engineers(INDIA), with over 0.5 million members from 15 engineering disciplines in 99 centres/chapters in India and overseas, is the largest multi-disciplinary engineering professional society in the English speaking world. Based in India, it is one of the full members of the Engineers Mobility Forum. Established in 1920 by Sir Thomas Holland and others at Madras (Chennai), it was formally inaugurated in 1921 by Lord Chelmsford, the then Viceroy and Governor General of India. In 1935, it obtained the Royal Charter of Incorporation from King George V “to promote and advance the science, practice and business of engineering”. Fellows of the Institution of Engineers (India) are entitled to use the post-nominals “FIE”, and all life corporate members are “Chartered Engineers” (CEng). The first President of the Institution was Sir Thomas R. J. Ward (President 1920). Sir Thomas Guthrie Russell (President 1933-34) played a key role in the successful petition for a Royal Charter. The current President is Rear Admiral K. O. Thakare, NM, CEng, FIE. Since 1928, the Institution has conducted non-formal engineering education programme, successful completion of which is recognized as equivalent to a degree in engineering by the Government of India, the Union Public Service Commission, the State Governments and most Public and Private Sector organizations in the country. Besides representing India in the Engineers Mobility Forum, the Institution has been prominent in World Mining Congress (WMC), the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO), the Commonwealth Engineers’ Council (CEC), the Federation Internationale du Beton (fib), and the Federation of Engineering Institutions of South and Central Asia (FEISCA). It also has bilateral agreements with a number of professional societies across the globe. It is currently headquartered in Kolkata (formerly known as Calcutta). for more details please visit the following websites..... 1.http://www.ieiapsc.org.in 2.http://www.ieindia.org |
