there are several subjects in JTO exam...first choose wisely which one you want to write..then look at the latest syllabus and start preparing from the basic in topics first which you find easy...prepare something daily and am sure you can get it as the questions are mainly asked from basics...

In JTO there is no branch wise test rather same question for all the branches. So from every field of technical knowledge the questions are coming.
