i am in 3rd yr. i am from electrical branch, how i can prepare for placement?

see,You need not wry much about placement.If you have good communication skill,basic knowledge of your electrical subjects, good aptitude,& logical reasoning.
What i would say,your prestation way matters more than your deep facts & figures.

how have to prepare from now onwards i'm in 3rd year computer science branch.. my cgpa not coming good but i'm trying hard..not getting what i'm expecting .now how i vl carry on plzz help me out??

i am presently studying 3rd year B.tech EEE. I have no arrear and having cgpa of 8.0. Till this semester i studied for exam sake and now i'm feeling guilty for not getting sufficient knowledge about the subjects. I am afraid that my little knowledge will not help in placements. So i want to change now itself and to learn the subjects clearly and also to refresh previously studied subjects. Please understand my situation and give me instruction for me to get a job in core company..

1. Aptitude Test.
2. Technical Interview.
For Aptitude Test R.S Agarwal is the best book to practice and
for Interview you should have a very good communication skill but the most important thing is that you must have a strong technical background of your stream. At least prepare the basics very well.

Its a good thing if you want to prepare for your placements right from now. This is the right time for anybody to be aware about it, about the competition and so prepare accordingly.

Now the companies which visit most private colleges campuses every year are usually TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, etc..

These are big names, and so they require hard working individuals who are optimistic and have a good basic knowledge of their B.Tech studies.

Now first of all, you must prepare for the aptitude.

It is a very important study, to make ones brain grow and think the other way.

Most of these companies have the aptitude test as the first step in their recruitment process.

So one has to master the Aptitude first. You should buy a book named R.S Aggarwal for its preparation. It has got enough questions for you to practice from it.

Next you have to develop that personality in yours, that X Factor that can make you stand out in the crowd.

Talk in English, Learn new vocabulary, Think Positive. Doing all these would only improve your personality.

Lastly your knowledge. The B.Tech concept is most important when it comes to impressing the interviewer. You should be thorough with all your concepts and basics.

They would ask from the basics only, and so it should be on your tips.

Try to follow these, and you would definitely get selected.
