Topics to be covered:
The topics to be studied in this paper are working and construction of transformer, AC and DC motor, AC and DC generators, Wheatstone bridge, ampere’s law, etc.
Division of paper:
The question paper is divided as Section A, Section B and Section C.
Paper pattern:
The Electrical and Electronics Measurements is one of the papers in the 3rd semester of the EE branch of the WBUT. The question paper is divided into three sections. The three sections of the question paper are as Section A, Section B and Section C. the section A of the paper is subdivided into 12 questions which carries 1 mark.
The questions of this section are objective type having four options of which only one is correct. Section B of the paper contains questions which are short answer type carrying 5 marks for each question. There are 5 questions in this section of which only three are to be answered correctly while the Section C of the paper contains long answer type questions carrying 15 marks each. The total mark carried by this section is 45 and only three questions are required to be answered correctly out of the 5 questions.
