Re: How should I give IBPS exam after 12th?
You can not apply for any IBPS Exam as for now. The minimum qualification requirement these days is graduation degree. So you will need to complete graduation before thinking about appearing for any IBPS bank exams.
Earlier it was possible for 12th standard pass to appear for IBPS Clerk Exam, as mentioned in some of the answers here. But now the criteria has been changed by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services. Now even for IBPS Clerk, the candidates will need to have minimum of graduation degree. There is no relaxation in qualification requirement. This is why I will suggest you to take admission in college and complete graduation if want banking job. IBPS Clerk Eligibility 1. You should be of Indian origin. 2. A graduation degree in any discipline. 3. You should also have diploma/degree in computers or must have studied Computers/IT as one of the subjects in high school or college. 4. The age limit for Clerk exam is 20 to 28 years. 5. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC. 6. SC/ST are eligible for 5 years relaxation. 7. There is 10 years relaxation for PWD candidates. IBPS Bank PO Eligibility 1. Must have completed graduation from any recognized university. 2. There is no minimum percentage criteria. 3. The age limit is 20 to 30 years for IBPS Bank PO. 4. Age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC. 5. SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation. 6. There is 10 years relaxation for Person with Disability. |

Re: How should I give IBPS exam after 12th?
Quote:
First of all a very brief introduction on what IBPS Exam which actually is an organization and a body which conducts Entrance Exam which is for the purpose of selecting candidates for the various posts in over 20 banks which are listed under it. IBPS - Institute for Banking Personnel Selection. Now till last year, this body used to issue the Eligibility Criteria for the clerical entry as the minimum 12th pass as the educational qualification. However from THIS YEAR ONWARD it has changed it to a minimum graduate for the Clerical entries even! So you being a 12th pass CANNOT apply for the IBPS Clerical nor PO Exam any more. I would suggest that you take up any good graduation course and then study it for 3/4 years whatever be its duration and only after that when you become a complete graduate with 55% aggregate or more, then you can apply for the Bank Jobs. But yeah since they as only Logical Reasoning, Quantitative, Data Interpretation, Banking and Computer Awareness and General Awareness questions so you can study about them from now also. Click Here to buy Bank Job books Online.. CLICK HERE to visit the IBPS Official Website. Also as a proof of the Eligibility Change, I am uploading a latest IBPS Notification for the Clerical Entry. Hope this helps All the best Regards RANJEET |
