I am a final year mechanical engineering student. I am thinking on writing gate examination in 2016. I have only 5 months. I know some basics, but i think thats not enough. what shall i do?

First of all collect previous GATE solved question papers
Daily practice sample question papers
Daily minimum 12 hours practice all the subject vise question and solved
You can attend daily Mock tests
Important points write in note book for preparation in exam centers
You can solve the Mathematics questions

Otherwise you can join in good GATE Institute

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

It is considered as one of the very crucial exam for technocrats because many reputed PSUs offer job on the basis of their GATE scores. So better you appear for GATE Exam.

About GATE Exam

GATE Exam is conducted jointly by IITs all over India i.e. seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee) and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

GATE Score is a plus point for a Candidate for getting admissions in colleges for further studies (e.g. Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Engineering, Master of Technology)
