How should I prepare for KVPY from standard 11th


i am going to sit for kvpy for standard 11. how should I prepare myself?

Is ncert and some sort of extra book like pardeep for chem and phy sufficient for clearing kvpy class11?? Or jee syllabus needs to be referred...Plz itz urgent...Because only the basic board syllabus wud b finished till october!! Plz help! KVPY 2014...
