Sir,
I'm MA(B.Ed) and at present teaching in a state govt school.But i wud lyk 2 teach in central government school.Could you plz tell me if CTET is a must now for applying in central schools??Also when and where do d advertisements for central schools come??
I would be very grateful if u answer my queries.

If you want to become a teacher of Central Governmnet teacher,then you will have to give CBSE TET(Teacher Eligibility Test) Exam.



Eligibility that you will have to fulfill in order to appear in this exam are :-

• Your Post Graduate degree should be recognized from UGC.
• Your minimum marks in Post Graduation should be 55%.
• Your minimum marks in B.ED should be minimum of 45%.

Exam Pattern for CBSE TET :-

• There will be two sets of questions.
• Each set will include questions from 4 sections.
• Each section will include 25 questions.
• Total marks for each section will be 100.

Syllabus :-


PAPER I

1. Child Development .
2. English Language.
3. Mathematics.
4. Environmental Studies.

PAPER II

1. Child Development and Pedagogy.
2. English Comprehension & Essay.
3. Social science.
4. Science.
