Information about IAS exam and pattern of it?
I want information about date of jao exam. I also want information about ias exam about exam pattern of pre exam i want question paper f general studies and optional subject as economics and commerce.sir its kind request to you to send this information.

hi...the basic elegibilty conditiond for indian administartive services examination is :
1.graduation from any recognized university in india,final year students appearing for the final exam are also elegible 2.minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 30 years for general category candidate and for sc/st students there is relaxation of five years Now coming to the pattern of the examination,well the exam is held in three parts PART 1:PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION It consists of two papers pf objective type,paper 1 is of general studies and paper 2 is an aptitude test known as csat PART2:MAINS EXAMINATION this is an descriptive type test having three papers of which part one general studies is common to all and the rest two papers are of your choice ,you can write the mains only when you clear the preliminary examination PART3 :INTERVIEW This is the last part of the dselection process and is of least marks among all three parts the final rank is decided only on the basis of over all score in all the examination inclucing prelims and mains written testa also for better understanding i am attaching this years exams notification |

IAS exam conducted by UPSC every year.UPSC conducts civil service exam every year and IAS exam conducted under civil service exam by UPSC.
For IAS exam you have to write for civil service exam.UPSC released notification every year for the post of IAS. To apply for IAS exam you have complete your graduation.after graduation you can apply for IAS exam. Eligibility for IAS exam- You must have graduation to apply for IAS exam.you can also apply for IAS exam in last year of graduation. Age limit for IAS exam is 21-30 year. IAS exam conducted in two stages first Preliminiary exam and second Main exam.you have to apply first Preliminary exam and then main exam. |

After complete your graduation then you apply for IAS exam. criteria:- Candidate apply for IAS for Age - 21 to 30 years 5 years relaxation for SC/ST 3 years for OBC *Pattern of exam:- Ias is 2 parts 1)Preliminary exam 2)Final exam In Preliminary 2 papers are:- 1)General knowledge 2)Optional subject Optional subject is choose by candidates it self............. |

I.A.S stands for Indian Administrative Service
This entrance examination was conducted by UPSC every year. For I.A.S,the candidate need to appear for Civil Service Examination. The Civil Service Examination is divided into three parts : Preliminary,Main,Interview. Preliminary examination consist of two papers and both papers are objective type and each paper of two hrs. Exam Pattern of Preliminary examination :- (Paper -1)(200 Marks) Current Events of national and International Importance History of India and Indian national movements Geography Indian Polity and governance Economic and Social development and General Science (Paper -2)(200 Marks) Comprehension Logical reasoning and analytical ability decision making and problem solving General mental ability Basic numeracy(X level) English and language skills(Class X level) |

Sir,i am from Pune.i am 2nd year of B.E mechanical student,but i fail two times in 1st year during the course B.E.mechanical and now i pass 1st year with only 49%,then i will be eligible for i.a.s exam if i am two time year down or less than 50% score in B.E mechanical. plz..plz..plz help me sir.

First of all I would like to states that, the minimum eligibility for appear in this civil service examination, conducted by the UPSC [UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION] , you must posses the graduation degree in any stream. This civil service examination has three stages to be clear- 1.CSAT [CIVIL SERVICE ATTITUDE TEST] 2. MAINS 3. INTERVIEW.
