Sir i want to get information about post of SSR and Sailor. recently i was passed my Bcom from mumbai university. May i'll apply or not?

to apply for senior secondary recruit only 10 2 PCM with 50% is required. so there is no need of degree for that exam. howerver joining indian navy as an officer is better than joining as a sailor. the career development being in sailor category is not much as compared to officer. and a sailor in SSR has no single profession unless u pass in exams like Naval entry artificer or commissioned worth. as i am presently a sailor serving in indian navy with 12 yrs of service. i suggest you to finish ur B Com and join as an officer. after joining in service as a sailor u will find very limited oppurtunities to develop in service. after joining service, till the age of 23 yrs u can try for commissioned worthy with only 3 chances. after 23yrs there wont be any chances for ur career development and u have to remain in the same category with slow promotions until ur 15yrs of pensionable service is completed. being in service u cannot try for any civil jobs except civil services. an officer has plenty of oppurtunities with lot of authority given to him. after the 6th pay commission, the officer of services is as equivalent to IAS in grade.

You may apply but you should meet the minimum and maximum age requirement.

You need to be pass out from 12th with PCM background.Only then can you apply for SSR.Your degree i.e B.com will not be useful for this exam.To apply for SSR your age group must be between 17-21 years.

The same eligibility is required for the sailor post.Its better that you go through the SSR if your age is between 17-21 years.You can get all the examination details conducted by Indian Navy in the following website

You can become a class 1 officer after the training course provided by the Indian Navy.
The recruitment are done twice an year.The notifications are published in the weekly journal "Employment News" or in daily newspapers.You can even follow the given link
