Information regarding upcoming Bank PO Recruitment?

Now a days Recruitment of PO is done through a common entrance exam known as IBPS and almost every bank are included in it (except some banks like -SBI,ICICI etc). If you haven't applied this year then also don't worry .You will get enough chances in the next year that is year 2012. So many banks are in need to Bank PO so it will bring you a chance .Before applying let's see some facts about Bank Po Exams and IBPS

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS and Other Bank PO Exam

• For applying in this examination , you must have graduation degree from any stream .
• Last year graduation students are not allowed to appear in this exam.
• Marks Criteria
  • There is no any minimum marks criteria for SBI Bank PO Exam and IBPS Exam.
  • Private Banks need at least 55% in graduation.
• Age Criteria
  • For IBPS Exam , your age should lie between 20 to 30 years.
  • For SBI Bank PO Exam, your age should lie between 21 to 30 years.
  • Private Banks demand the candidate with more than 25 years of age.
    
• Number of Permissible Attempts
  • For General Category Students - 4 Attempts
  • For OBC -7
  • For SC/ST - There is no any limit

This year the IBPS Exam was successfully conducted and it is not going to be conducted this year so you should wait for the next year .Generally IBPS Exam is conducted at least twice a year and beside that some private banks and SBI conducts their own exam so you should keep looking on employement news .For updates visit-http://www.employmentnews.gov.in/

There will be a huge recruitment of bank P.O.(Probationary Officer) for the year 2012 which will be held through a common entrance exam through IBPS almost all banks will participate except SBI, ICICI bank.

The eligibility for bank P.O. is at least graduation from any discipline with at least 55% marks for private bank and there is no percentage of marks criteria for other banks.

The age limit for IBPS exam is 20 to 30years, for SBI it is 21 to 30 years.

There is a limit in attempting for bank P.O. exam which is 4 times for General candidate, 7 times for OBC candidate and no limit for SC/ST candidate.

I was appear in IBPS PO examination and passed the exam. my weighted score is 129 in ST categary. three banks notifaction have come.

The no of permissible attempt is not defined for any category means it may be any number of times a student can attempt for IBPS exam.

so don't worry there is always a second chance.

I got 137 marks in ibps po bt in graduation i score 45.4%.can i eligible any upcoming bank.i am belong to sc.
