Is Intermediate from BBOSE valid and acceptable for admission in Indian Maritime University?

I have completed my 12th Board exams under Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination (BBOSE) curriculum. So, now am I eligible to join Indian Maritime University in Chennai with Intermediate from BBOSE?
