Is intermediate compulsory to apply for WBCS examination?


Hello, after my 10th exam I pursued Diploma & thereafter I completed Graduation (B.Sc. IT) in distance. So, without having a 12th pass certificate am I eligible to sit in WBCS Exam?

The acronym WBCS stands for West Bengal Civil Services exam.

Eligibility criteria:

Academic qualification: Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for exam.

Age limit: 21-32 years.

Diploma is considered equivalent to intermediate. You can apply for WBCS exam.
