ISST exam is an exam conducted for admission in undergraduate course by IIST: Indian Institute of Space science and technology.
This time this test will going to conduct on April 16, 2011(next year).
Admission in BTech is offered in basically three branches:
-B.Tech in Avionics..........................58 seats
-B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering.......59 seats
-Physical Science............................39 seats

There is total intake of 156 students for the batch starting in 2011 .
You can enroll and register yourself online at their homepage:
http://www.iist.ac.in/
The online application form will be available from 10:00 AM on 1st November 2010 to 11:30 PM on 31st December 2010 at the IIST website.
Payment is Rs. 600/- (GEN) and 300/-(SC/ST/OBC) through DD.

Can Xth pass (presently in XI) give the exam?

you have to register online to appear for the examination at www.iist.ac.in/isat2011 website...the candidate must have an aggregate of 70% in both tenth and 12th standard..
online registrations will begin from 8th november till 30th december..examination fee is Rs 600/- for OBC and for SC/ST/PD and all female candidates is Rs 300/-...
