i have done BCA from PTU under distance learning..
can i get job in companies like infy,hcl,tcs...do they approve distance learning???besides, i doesn't have any work experience...
and what mindset HR interviewer carry for a distance learner like me....

Sorry dear you can't apply like tcs,hcl,infy..because they have want only full time course.now you can do one thing just go for mca admission.after that you have some better option.

To get job in Infosys, you need to scored 60% Marks in Class 10th, 12th and in Graduation. But most of the jobs are availiable only for Regular and full time course candidates.

And you have completed your BCA through distance learning, then you will face some problem, while applying for Jobs in Infosys.

But mostly jobs in Infoysis are availiable for MCA and B.tech Candidates.

So, i will suggest you, just do MCA course, because after completing BCA, you will not easily get job in Infosys. So, please do MCA course first and then apply for Infosys. But to apply for Infosys, you need minimum 60% marks in your whole career. So, if you have mentain the 60% marks from your 10th class till graduation, then you are eligible to apply for Infosys Jobs.

So, if you are interested in furthur study, then please do MCA first and then apply for Infosys, then definitely you will get job in Infosys. But if you find jobs in Infosys after completing BCA, then may be you will face some Problem, because the first preference is always given to regular course candidates.

i am doing BCA (final year) from banasthali university.....i have got 63.8% in 10th,69.8% in 12th but my aggregate marks of graduation uptill my 2nd year scores 50% .....so am i eligible to apply for job in any of these companies ????

Eligibility criteria for Infosys and HCL-

1.Infosys demands minimum 65% and HCL demands minimum 60% in throughout carrier of the candidate .
2.No backlogs are allowed .
3.Year gaps more than two are not allowed in both the companies .
4.Only full time courses candidates can apply .
5.graduation from any recognized university.

As you are not a regular student of BCA ,so you are not eligible for both HCL and Infosys .

Most of the MNC's ask an aggregate of 60% throughout. ie 60% in 10th 60 in 10+2 and 60% in engineering. And some times it varies from company to company. For getting into a software company more than marks communication skill is very much important. Once u have the cutoff it doesn't discriminate between 2 candidates out which one has 90% and other has 60%. The candidate whose communication is good wiill get the job. Those companies will search for efficient workers not the toppers.

this is all wrong who are saying you can't get job in companies like HCL and Infosys after learning through Correspondence courses, i am a student of sikkim manipal university and i have completed my BCA last year, and now i am working in HCL as a Senior network Engineer, so all you have to do is gain knowledge as much as you can then crack the interview , and HR would not discuss with you weather you are a Correspondence guy or regular guy, He/She would simply check your knowledge. so don't be afraid.

hi all forget about INFOSYS,TATA,cabgimine,WIPRO, HCL too. not hiring distnace learning student. in above comment i read one person aid he is working in HCL .so i can explain in hcl TECH -IOMC which is infra hire distance learning student. but HCL AXON do not hire distance person, second things HCL INFRA never hire fresher from DISTANCE only experience candidate .. now i have also done BCA and MCA from distance, so we distance people are not eligible for jobs in MNC. i says govt has to stop distance learning if they cannot offer us jobs in MNC,or if GOVT has power so have to change thinking of MNC for distance student. when govt earn money from distance corses so why they are hiding their self at a time of jobs for distance student, about wipro i will tell one of my friend did MCA with A distace program thats program was collbarate with wipro and now wipro also do not hire distance

why the company is looking marks only, at least we must be given a change to show our technical skill, this mnc protocol is breaking the hope to get a job in any good mnc company
