After completing your Bachelor of Science in Microbiology you can have many job prospectus in the field of Government and Private sectors. To get a good job you must get minimum of 60% in your B.Sc Microbiology. Your age must be in between 21 to 30 years. You must have good Communication skills.

SCOPE

Microbiologists are most likely have their chances for jobs in many fields like research and development labs of govt and privately run hospitals, research based specialized organizations, pharmaceutical companies, food storage industries, beverage and chemical industries.Since this subject is very closely related to biotechnology, there are many similarities between both of them.Hence making microbiology also a very promising career option.But to be honest the growth of biotechnology in India is very poor. However the growing countries like US, Japan are most finest destination for this subject.

After completing Bsc you will only get a good job if you have a experience of 2 or more years or you have good contacts or jack.
It will be good if you do your 6th month industrial training from reputated companies as they absorb the good candidates during training.

It would be better to opt for higher studies rather than looking for job opportunities after completion of your B.Sc in Microbiology. The reason being for the increase in career scope after M.Sc.
