Re: Job opportunities for a B.Tech and MBA candidate?
hi friend,
you want to do B.Tech. as well as MBA. see, B.Tech. is a technical stream while MBA is non technical. you can go through B.Tech. for a technical job in industry such as designer, quality inspector , etc. while through MBA you can apply for jobs in management field like CEO, chairman, manager, etc. if you want to take the benefit of both degrees, you have to choose a sream of MBA which is close to technical jobs like project management, quality management, etc. for all these,, first acquire both degrees one by one. rather, you go either for only one of B.Tech. or MBA. it wiil be more convenient. but if you have those qualities required for both, sure go for both of them. at all, it is totaly depends on you, wha to do exactly. one more thing, even you go from B.Tech., you can have a post of MBA student by your knowledge, skills & personality.so, think about this also! |

B.TECH & MBA RELATED JOBS You will get the job related to the specialization which you took in MBA i.e as follows... -> HR ( Human Resource ) -> Finance -> Marketing and so on.. -> Based on this specialization which you make in MBA, you can get the job, if you have selected in MBA as HR then you will get the HR post in the top electronics based companies since you have finished your ECE course in B.Tech.. -> Finance and Marketing will be purely based on the MBA specialization and which as no proper connection between B.E degree, so you will get the jobs in Marketing and Finance based companies... -> There are stiff competition going on for MBA graduates, as many are pursuing MBA now a days, so you have to work hard in your course to have a bright future... -> As you have finished ECE in B.E/B.Tech it's better you go for HR specialization in MBA course and get the jobs in top electronics and software based companies as HR, because completing B.E degree adds value for your job.. -> The starting salary for MBA graduates with B.E/B.Tech degree will be around 3.5 - 4.0 lakhs per annum, so work hard in your course and go for the top companies.. Re: Job opportunities for a B.Tech and MBA candidate?
after completion of B.Tech in ECE if you do MBA then you will get a good job opportunity with a very good salary package. even after B.Tech you will get good opportunity. but if you do MBA with engineering degree then your demand will be more high.
but if you do MBA then you have to mainly work on management field. but after B.Tech in electronics and communication engineering you may do M.Tech then also you will get good opportunity. if you like electronics subject and you want to built your career in electronics field then it's better to do M.Tech in a subject related to electronics. for MBA try to take admission through MBA entrance examination like CAt, MAT etc. then you will get opportunity to choose the best college for which you are eligible according to your score in MBA entrance examination. try to complete your MBA from a good institution. after MBA generally minimum salary will be 3lakhs per annum but if you complete your MBA degree from a very good institution then it may become 10lakhs in starting. so try to get admission in a good institution and give your best in study and job to be successful. there are so many good stream in MBA you may choose any one from these according to your choice. some popular stream of MBA are Marketing management HR management Financial management Operational management Advertising management and many more. best of luck. |

Re: Job opportunities for a B.Tech and MBA candidate?
MBA is an excellent option for higher studies after any degree. It gives candidates lot of options as for career growth. Your choices of colleges are excellent and are amongst the top colleges in the country. You can also do an MBA in any of the foreign country. But as to get admission in to IIM, XLRI etc, you need to score excellent marks in the CAT and XAT entrance exam as well as the interview. If you manage to get admission in to these colleges then you can take up specialization in marketing. Some institution also offers Dual specialization. If so you can do a marketing specialization as well as IT or Systems specialization. It is not necessary to do a specialization on the basis of your education background. But it will definitely give you an added advantage.
