i m samida and now in b.tech 3rd year if i give CDS exam then what type of job i can get? In army , navy nd in airforce what type of job for girls ....nd duration of those jobs.

after you appear for CDS and qualify written exam you have to appear for interview (SSB) and after getting selected you will go through a training and then recruited as an officer on the basis of SSC (short service commision) :If the Indian Force grants you the Short Service Commission, it means that you have been accepted in service for a period of ten years. Depending upon your performance, Force requirements and your inclination to continue, you can extend your tenure by five years.

Thereafter, you can extend your tenure by another five years or retire at forty whichever comes first. The Short Service Commission is granted to both men and women.

Is NDA Meant For Girls A big Quetion Mark ??

NDA i.e National Defense Academy Exam is not written by Girls because Girls are Not Eligible for writing this.

NDA is only Meant for Boys. Girls become More Responsible only after completing their graduation Or any degree.

if girls wants to join indian Army then they can but Not after 12th they need to Go for further studies.

After Graduation you have ample number of Entries like

I) CDSE i.e Combined Defense Service Exam , need Girls/Guy with any Degree from recognized university for Indian Army.

If they want to join Indian Air force then they need to have Physics Or maths as a subject in their Graduation.

II) UES i.e University Entry Scheme , Final year Engineering Students are Eligible for this.

III) SSC Technical Only Final year Engineering Students are Eligible For this.

So, i do suggest you to Go for Engineering Degree to make your self Eligible for Every Entry..

No as if you are a girl you can't join Indian Airforce directly after passing 12th.

If you want to join Indian Airforce then you have to first complete your graduation,

then you have to appear in Combined defence service examination (CDSE) or Airforce Common Test (AFCT) for joining Airforce as an officer.

you can get into the defence services as a technical officer for short servise commission but based on your performance you can be changed to permanent commission. the job would be either to work on the communication side or for the MES i.e. military engineering service
you can apply thorugh various schemes like CDS or UES AND SSC technial, but its better you wait for UES as they will only come to your district for selections and then call you for SSB directly.

you have to give CDS ( combined defence services) exam whose procedure is given below:
If you choose permanent commission (in this, retirement is done in the age of 60) after CDS, then you have to three examination viz. GS, Maths and English. On choosing Short Service Commission, you have to give two examination viz. General Studies and English. The examination in this year will be on 13 February, 2011.

Age Limit:
IMA: 19-24
NDA: 19-22
AFA: 19-23
OTA: 19-25

Eligibility:
Candidate must be graduate for IMA (Indian Military Academy) and OTA (Officers Training Academy). Candidate must be B.Sc. or B.E. for Navel Academy. For air force academy, he have done B.E. or graduation (with compulsory physics and Maths in 10+2).

Notification:
Twice in a year (April and September).

Month of test:
February/ September.

Examination subjects:
Maths, General Studies, English.

Examination Format:
Three objective papers of two hours each. Each paper will be of 100 marks. First paper will be of English, second of general studies and third of Maths.

How to prepare for CDS?
Examinations are of English, General Studies and Maths.

English:
Its syllabus is similar to NDA.

General Studies:
Questions from Indian history, Indian politics, geography and economics are asked.

Maths:
Questions from arithmetic, mensuration, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics and probability etc. are asked.

You can apply for Navy, Indian air force.the minimum eligibility is having graduation degree or B.Tech with 55%age.

Jobs are available for women in defence in every branchs like TECHNICAL BRANCH, GROUND DUTY or FLYING BRANCH.
