I am not able to understand the joining procedure in this RAW agency. Any one tell me about the procedure to join. I have another question for the qualification of the RAW agency, but please answer that first.

RAW stands for Research and Analysis Wing. This is the foreign intelligence agency of India. RAW does not conducts its own entrance examination, it recruit candidates from different services of Indian Government like Administrative Services, Police Services, Defence Services etc.

Candidates who are shortlisted from these services have to clear National Aptitude Test in Intelligence and then personality test. First, you should aim to join any of services mentioned above and if you performance well then you will be selected from your service for National Aptitude Test in Intelligence and after passing this test, you will become eligible for RAW Allied Services.

An Intelligence Agency of India which is one of the most delicate and prestigious Bureau of India.

To join Raw agency, you will pass through many stages,

Firstly, you will have to qualify Civil Services Exam.

Your AIR must be below 500 to become RAW Agent.

Accordingly on the basis of your rank, you will be assigned to your post.

Now, after 20 years you can appear for RAW Joining Exam.

If you qualified that exam, you will be joined in RAW Agency for the 2 to 5 years.

RAW Agent have pay scale of about 80000 to 1.3 lakh.

RAW is confidential and independent intelligence agency of India. For your kind information i want to tell you that there is no way to get direct recruitment in RAW. Generally RAW recruit candidates from top defense agencies. Some of them are listed as below :
** Central Intelligence Officers,
** CID Officers
** INA,
** AFA
So my suggestion to you is that you should try to join any defense service on the basis of graduation degree. You can start your career via UPSC.

RAW doesn't have recruitment process. RAW recruits candidates from Government Departments , Intelligence Agencies , Police Services & Administrative Services etc.

Recruitment
- Director is recruited from IPS & Other grade I services.
- Field Officers are recruited from Intelligence Services , Police Services , Military Services etc. Post of field officers in RAW are Senior Field Officer , Senior Field Officer , Deputy Field Officer & Assistant Field Officer etc.

Expert In Various Fields
If you are Handwriting Expert , Super Computer Hacker, then you have career opportunities in RAW.

There is no direct recruitment for joining RAW which is stands for Research And Analysis Wing. There is departmental recruitment process in this agency. If you are doing well in your project of your department then they may select you for this job. But for that you have to give UPSC exam so you can join these departments. Thanks.

To join RAW Division then you need to crack the IB(Intelligence Bureau)ACIO Examination.

IB(Intelligence Bureau) ACIO (Assistant Central Intelligence Officer) and this examination is conducted by Ministry of Home Affairs Once in a year.

This year examination was already released and last date for receipt application may also already closed. The examination will be held in the month of September.

Let see the eligibility criteria for this examination.

-The candidate must be Citizen of India.
-The candidate must be completed graduate degree from a recognized University.
-Any graduate degree candidate can apply for this examination.
-The candidate must have a minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years.
-Upper age limits is applicable for reserved categories.
-The candidate must have a knowledge in Computer Operations or Computer Language

There is no entrance examination conducted by Research and Analysis Wing. Selection to RAW Allied services is done on basis of National Aptitude Test in Intelligence.

1. Those who desire to join RAW should first join any of services like Indian Police Services, Indian Administrative Services, Defence Services etc. For these services you will have to clear examination like Civil Services examination, Combined Defence Services exam or IB ACIO exam etc.

2. Officers serving in these services after certain years of good experience are shortlisted for NATI and those who clear join RAW after personality.
