DEAR sir
i am a diploma engineer in civil engineering.i have also appointed as DET in a MNC company .but i am not satisfied from this job .i am thinkink.i should be gratuate in civil ,you know B.E. I HEARED about KOUS.
KINDLY TELL me ;is it approved by AICTE.doing BE from this university,will i eligible for govt.job.

The Technical Programs offered through distance programs by any university are not approved by the All India Council for Technical Education any more. The only courses, offered through distance mode, recognized by the council are Master of Computer Application and Master of Business Administration.

As far as the recognition of the Karnataka State Open University is concerned, it is recognized by University Grant Commission and Distance Education Council of India but the University do not offers, either Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Engineering.
