See one thing i clearly tell you that if you read your text books and the whole syllabus of GATE clearly then only you will be able to clear the GATE. As your department is Civil then the mathematics, SOM, Thermodynamics ---- these portion you have to prepare well.
For Previous paper solution you must have to admitted in a renowned institute because there are so many institute that gives confusing answer.
